There are plenty of things to do nearby. Some suggested activities include:

Our resort is set among two of BC's most scenic peaks - Birkenhead and Gates Mountain. At elevation of 1815 feet (455m), Gates Lake has a width and length that is approximately 1/2 mile (800m) by 1 mile (1600m). The lake's brilliant blue depths invite swimming, fishing or kayaking and extend to 60ft (18m) deep with Atlantic salmon, Cutthroat troat, Dolly Varden, Kokanee and Rainbow Trout.
Average temperatures are influenced by the interior Thompson - Fraser valleys and are typically much 'higher and drier' than the cooler, wetter coastal weather patterns. Winter temperatures are ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, with a campfire at the end of the day.
