Ian & Allene-The Happy Couple

Allene and Ian met when they both joined the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony - where Allene played violin and Ian played bass – in 2007. They were both seeing other people at the time so they just became firm friends. It was after two years of friendship, when they were both single, that they realized they had feelings for each other. The couple then spent three happy years together before Ian proposed.

The couple were in Fort Langley to visit Allene’s parents when Ian took Allene for a walk into the old town, which was all lit up with Christmas lights. It was there that he got down on one knee and asked Allene to marry him. The couple then spent the next 12 months planning their special day.
