La Cuvette beach is well worth a trip and you can take a catamaran ride to lle Gabriel which has some of the best beaches on the island and clear waters for snorkelling. The Flacq Market is also a spot worth visiting. Located in the East it's a colourful and lively market which attracts large crowds. Blue Bay, aptly named because of the colour of its waters, is a small island in the south east and one of the highlights of a trip here is a ride in a glass bottomed boat where you can see amazing marine flora and fauna.
