Doe Party Ideas

Ideas for a great party

If you’re in charge of organising the doe party then you need to bear in mind the personality and likes of the bride. However much you may all like the idea of a stripper, if you know that she would not be impressed or may even be embarrassed, then consider some other ideas. To help get you started, here are a few suggestions:

Spa Party

Plan a day at your local spa or even better one further afield that involves a weekend trip. Massages, pedicures, mud baths, facials, wraps — any of these will give the girls time to share their thoughts and enjoy a laugh together. The bride will also relish a time to de-stress and relax.

Casino or Racetrack

The whole of life is a gamble so why not hold the doe night at a racetrack or casino. The majority of them have a decent restaurant and you can all have fun with a little flutter. The great thing is, one of you could walk away with enough to pay for the bridesmaids dresses or another girl’s night out! Just remember the odds are stacked against you, so only gamble what you can afford to lose.

Limousine Shopping

Why not rent a limo for the day and stock it with champagne and delicious nibbles. Have fun popping in and out of designer boutiques and taking a break in the limo. You’ll all feel like stars being ferried around. If you prefer something wilder, then the limo is a great mode of transport to the clubs, and saves anyone from having to drive.

Cocktail Making Classes

Do you know your Margarita from your Manhattan? A cocktail mixing class is a fun way to learn the art of mixing some of your favourite cocktails and the best thing is you get to sample your labours of love. Follow the cocktail session with some dirty dancing at the clubs and you’ll all have a ball.

Photo Shoot

Finally, how about booking a photo shoot to take place before you hit the town. The session can be relaxed and fun and makes for a great keepsake for both the bride and her guests.
