Your wedding cake will be a huge focal point at your wedding reception. So you want a wedding cake that is really going to wow your guests and make a statement.
When it comes to choosing your wedding cake, you really are spoiled for choice. You could have a simple fruitcake iced in white or a flavoured sponge cake covered in butter cream icing or a tower of cupcakes. You can even have your wedding cake specially designed to reflect you both as a couple, it you are music fans you could have a wedding cake featuring musical notes or if you are big sports fans, you could have a wedding cake with cake toppers dressed in your favourite teams colors.
When you are meeting with your wedding cake designer, it’s a great idea to take a look through some pictures of their previous work to get an idea of their style and their abilities. You may also want to talk through what options they have available to you – for example will they provide a wedding cake stand and is there a delivery charge.
