If you're looking for a destination which boasts a pot pourri of stunning scenery, wild adventures, gourmet food and peaceful tranquillity then why not consider getting married in Vanuatu. The predominantly Christian islands which make up Vanuatu, are located in the South Pacific, and there are plenty of churches and hotels in which to have your wedding ceremony. Weddings abroad in Vanuatu fulfil dreams of a tropical paradise and there are an abundance of superb venues in which to host your reception.
You need to have spent a minimum of 3 days living in Vanuatu prior to your wedding and this also gives you a chance to formalise your documentation and meet with your wedding co-ordinator. One month before your intended wedding date you need to fax or scan copies of both passports, full birth certificates and a completed Certificate of Intended Marriage. The completed witness form needs 2 witnesses which can be finalised when you arrive. Catholic weddings can also be arranged (a priest will go to resorts) and you will need a Letter of Freedom plus your local priest will need to communicate with the priest in Port Vila.
